Troubleshooting

Messages you may see, what they mean, and what to do next.

Issues don't show

• The calendar is unticked. Tick it in the side panel.
• The issues have no dates. Only issues with a value in the calendar's start or end field appear. Check the fields with ⋯ → Edit.
• They're in another month. The card No issues in … tells you when the next one is; choose Go to ….
• This calendar has no start or end date field, so it can't show issues. Edit the calendar and choose its Event Start and Event End.
• Too many issues: a calendar shows at most 1000 issues per view. Switch to a week or day view, or narrow the JQL.
• … took too long to load. Jira was slow to answer. Choose the refresh button at the bottom of the side panel, or narrow the JQL.
• Couldn't load your calendars. Choose Retry. If it keeps happening, write to us.

An issue won't move

• Cannot update issue. Jira refused the change, for example because you can't edit that issue. The message says why.
• Cannot perform this operation: you can only view this calendar.

Google or Outlook events are missing

• Check that the calendar is ticked under its account.
• If the account shows Reconnect or the page says Google connection expired, reconnect it.
• Events created directly in Google or Outlook appear when the page refreshes; choose the refresh button at the bottom of the side panel.

Jira dates don't reach Google or Outlook

Open ⋯ → Manage Google Calendar (or Outlook) and read the status. The status table lists what each message means. Resync now sends everything again.

"Finishing Solid Calendar setup…"

The app is preparing its storage after an install or upgrade. It takes up to a minute and the page continues by itself.

My calendars are gone after the upgrade

Calendars and connections from the previous version were not carried over. Add them again; your Jira issues are unchanged.
